Panasonic R-1020. Radar-Matic 10 Transistor AM Radio. Japan. Manual or mechanically driven automatic tuning. Overall appearance is very good. No significant flaws in case. Handle is very good. Small dent and a few marks on otherwise excellent grille. Tuning dial and dial cover are excellent. A few scratches on chrome trim but no pitting. Battery compartment and contacts are clean. Manually tuned a couple stations in a brief test even in my poor AM reception area but it wouldn't lock on a station in the automatic mode. Tuning dial would turn by itself and click at stations for an instant then move on. I suspect the reception just wasn't strong enough for it to lock in. Sold as-is for parts or restoration. Requires 4 AA cells (not included). Approximate size 8"W, 1.75"D, 4"H. Item #9803
