North American 678 6 Transistor Reel to Reel Tape Recorder. Japan. Includes microphone, box top and styrofoam shipping container. Overall appearance is excellent. No cracks, chips or significant scratches on the plastic case. Handle is excellent. Battery compartment and contacts are clean. C battery holder appears broken but it is functioning properly. No reels or tapes. Not fully tested but the replay drive wheel and the play drive wheel both turn. The play wheel has a little bump in it. Sold as-is for parts or restoration. Requires one 9 Volt battery and 2 C cells (not included). Approximate size 8"W, 6.75"D, 3"H. Item #9809
