US Radio 25A tube type AM radio

(Stock: 1)

US Radio 25A tube type AM radio. United States Radio & Telegraph Corp chassis 500. (Riders Vol 4- U.S.R. & T. pg 4&5) An excellent candidate for restoration. Wood cabinet is solid with 2 or 3 small veneer chips. Sides & top have been stripped. Grille cloth is very good. Volume knob has a big chip in it. Original power cord is usable. Label inside is very good. Chassis is a little dirty, no rust but there is some on the transformer. It actually works although the volume control is very dirty. I was able to tune 1 station while holding the volume control in its sweet spot, heard no hum. Approximate size in inches 17W, 8D, 9.5H. Item #9054
