Heathkit AR-1515 AM/FM Receiver. Overall appearance is very good. Wood sides are excellent. Metal top has some paint scratches and tape residue, otherwise excellent. Front panel excellent, markings excellent. Lower panel and markings also excellent. Back panel and markings also excellent except for 3 small pieces of tape and residue from a sticker. Original power cord is getting stiff. Chassis slightly dirty, no rust. Right channel transistors are missing but the driver board appears complete otherwise. In the cavity where the power output board is there is a plug dangling and a mounting bracket where there probably should be another circuit board. Left channel works very well. AM and FM radios work but each requires an external antenna. ?Tune? meter needle stays to the extreme right. ?Signal? meter works. Listened to FM for about 3 hours. The volume control required cleaning before audio would work at all. Other controls probably need cleaning. Missing feet. Tested as described but, to the best of my knowledge, has not been recapped or had other components replaced. Sold as-is for restoration or parts.
